Apply Leirvik has entered into a contract with Master Marine to complete the permanent living quarters on their new Jack-up rig L205.

The rig is presently being prepared for transport from Batam in Indonesia to Eydehavn in Grimstad, where it will be fitted with temporary living quarters and other assorted equipment. Then the rig will then be leased to ConocoPhillips for use on the Ekofisk field.

Apply Leirvik will complete the remaining work with respect to architecture, insulation, and sanitation, as well as coordinate and manage all disciplines/activities in order to complete the permanent living quarters. Apply Leirvik has already mobilised personnel who will familiarise themselves with the rig, and these will also accompany the rig on its journey from Batam to Eydehavn, in order to clarify the workload and make detailed plans for the project.

The Jack-up rig L205 will arrive in Eydehavn at the beginning of August, and will be completed in mid-November this year.

The workload is estimated at approximately 50 full-time equivalent work years and has a value of around 50 million NOK.
